October: October basically consisted of, like I said, me laying on the couch. I did get up the energy to carve pumpkins and take Hudson to the mall to trick-or-treat and also to have my parents come up and go to the trunk-or-treat at the church with us. Hudson looked so cute in his puppy dog costume and got way too much candy for one little person.
November: I also layed on the couch most of November. However, I did start feeling a little better. For Thanksgiving we went to my parents house in Coalville and feasted. Or at least I tried to. We did have a great time being with family though.
December: December is when I really started to feel half way decent again. I still had a few sick episodes after eating the wrong things but for the most part I was feeling better. Right before Christmas Kolby and I took Hudson to Salt Lake to stay in a hotel and go to Build a Bear. I'm pretty sure that we had more fun at Build a Bear than he did but that's ok. While in Salt Lake we decided to visit Fetal Foto and find out the gender of our baby. I was so excited! I didn't care either way what we had just as long as it was healthy. When we found out it was a girl I was elated! Kolby, on the other hand, took some time to adjust to the idea of having a daughter. He is still working on getting used to it. We decided to keep it a secret until Christmas where we would then tell our families. That was one hard secret to keep! On Christmas Eve we went to Coalville and went to dinner with my family. At dinner, I produced a special cake that I had made and told them that inside there would be a surprise. There was pink frosting inside and my family was thrilled! It was definitely a fun memory to make. We then went to Oakley on Christmas Day and did the same thing with Kolby's family. As for Christmas, we all got spoiled, as usual. Hudson got a ride-in car, scooter, a train set, and a couch and chairs just to name a few. And really that is just naming a few. He definitely had a good Christmas!
January: For New Years Eve we just stayed home, ate lasagna for dinner, and watched Rockin New Years Eve on TV. It was for sure low key but we enjoyed just hanging out as a little family. January 3rd was our 5th wedding anniversary. Since we are building a house we decided to save money and not travel anywhere or give anything. Instead, we went to dinner at the Coppermill, just the two of us, which is very rare. We had a great time celebrating. I can't believe it's been five years! As for the rest of January, we really didn't do anything else too fun. Just tried to stay warm!
February: For Valentines Day I did get flowers from my hubby and we gave Hudson a movie and a bubble blower. He thoroughly enjoyed both. For Hudson's 2nd birthday we made cupcakes, took him bowling and to dinner, and gave him a few gifts. He got a toy BBQ grill and a V-Tech learning pad. When we move into our new house we will have a Mickey Mouse party with all of our family but celebrating with just us three was a fun start!
March: Now we are finally up to date! Here in the next few weeks we will be moving into our new house and I cannot wait. It is everything I wanted and I'm so happy with how it all has turned out. As soon as we move in, or sometime in the near future after, I will post pictures. For now, I will finish packing and lounge around with my 2 year old and my 7 month pregnant self!
Camille! That is so fun! I'm so excited for you with everything! Little girls are fun! Josh wasn't sure about Brett at first but has loved every second sense. He was hoping that our second was a girl, but was just as excited when it was a boy ;)
